Cookie Policy

This page explains the technology, browser storage and two levels of measurement used by this medical negligence website.
Essential browser storage
The website stores your measurement preference in your browser under rc_cookie_consent. This essential storage remembers whether you chose essential-only operation, basic analytics or full analytics.
The first page you visit is held in memory so it can accompany an enquiry, alongside the page from which you submit it. Query strings and fragments are excluded. Without full analytics permission, campaign identifiers are not saved in browser storage or attached to your enquiry. Reloading the page without that permission may reset the original landing page.
Basic website measurement
We use Vercel Web Analytics by default solely to produce aggregated statistics that help us improve the website and its conversion journeys. This basic level does not use analytics cookies, create advertising profiles or try to identify you. It can count visits to each approved public page, while query strings, fragments and unknown paths are removed before an event is sent.
Basic measurement can count page views and a restricted set of actions such as starting or submitting a form, progressing through the claim checker, or selecting a call, WhatsApp or start-claim link. It does not receive names, contact details, form answers, medical narratives, selected claim types, query strings, fragments or advertising click identifiers. Results are used only as aggregate website-improvement statistics, not to monitor or make decisions about individual visitors.
Vercel acts as our service provider for this measurement. You can object at any time, free of charge, by choosing Essential only in the privacy and analytics controls.
Optional campaign attribution
If you allow full analytics, campaign labels and advertising click identifiers (including gclid, gbraid and wbraid) may be stored for the browser tab’s session and attached to your enquiry in our CRM. This helps us understand where enquiries came from. These identifiers and your enquiry answers are not included in our analytics event payloads. Withdrawing full analytics permission removes this stored attribution.
Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics is not loaded unless a measurement ID and manual-event-only configuration have been confirmed and you choose Allow full analytics in the website controls. If enabled, Google Analytics may use analytics cookies to help us understand sessions, website usage and campaign performance.
Our implementation is configured not to send enquiry form contents, names, telephone numbers, email addresses, medical narratives or the medical claim type selected in the claim checker. Analytics can use approved public page paths, while query strings, fragments and referrers are excluded. Automatic form, search and other enhanced measurement must be disabled before analytics is enabled.
Live chat and external messaging
A live-chat service is only loaded if one has been configured and a visitor chooses to open it. The selected provider may use its own cookies or storage, which will be reviewed and reflected in this policy before that service is enabled for general use.
WhatsApp links, if enabled, take you to an external WhatsApp service. The privacy and cookie practices of that external service are controlled by its provider.
Your choice
You can choose Essential only, Basic analytics or Allow full analytics when the controls are shown. Essential website functions do not require measurement. Basic analytics is the default solely for aggregated website-improvement statistics; full analytics is optional and requires your consent.
You can reopen the controls at any time using Privacy & analytics choices in the website footer. Choosing Essential only stops future basic and full analytics events. Moving from full analytics to either of the other choices also disables Google Analytics, removes the Google Analytics cookies the website can access and clears temporary campaign attribution.
Changes
We will update this policy if the analytics, advertising, chat or other website technologies in use change.
